Collection: Vitality Ritual

Maté is a traditional beverage originating from South America, made from the leaves of Ilex paraguariensis. Naturally rich in caffeine, it has been enjoyed for centuries to accompany active days and today fits into many wellbeing routines.

Maté is naturally rich in caffeine and also contains antioxidants, as well as vitamins and minerals. It is appreciated for promoting alertness, supporting concentration and accompanying active days, as part of a varied and balanced diet.

Maté and coffee contain the same caffeine molecule. However, thanks to its natural composition rich in polyphenols, saponins and other plant compounds, maté is often perceived as providing a more gradual and lasting energy, with less sensation of nervousness or "energy crash" as the effect wears off. This perception may vary from person to person.

Maté can be enjoyed in the morning to start the day well, before physical activity, or during a work period requiring concentration. Due to its natural caffeine content, it is generally recommended to avoid drinking it in the evening if you are sensitive to its effects.

Maté is simply prepared as an infusion with hot water, ideally between 70 and 80 °C, in order to preserve the qualities of the leaves. It can be enjoyed in a cup, a teapot or a suitable gourd, and easily fits into a daily ritual to recharge with natural energy.
